We are loving all the beautiful places to hike in the Bay Area. There is so much gorgeous scenery at every turn. This weekend we hiked 6 miles of the Tennessee Valley Trail.
Nature Lovers
I feel incredibly blessed to be able to instill in my children a great love for the outdoors. Henry David Thoreau once said, “I believe that there is a subtle magnetism in Nature, which, if we unconsciously yield to it, will direct us aright.” And I wholeheartedly agree with this. Our day just feels immensely better whenever we spend time outdoors.
I love that hiking also allows us to spend time together, chatting about our week, checking in on our goals, and ensuring that we are still on the right path for the future we are creating today. Finding time to spend like this is priceless.
Tennessee Valley Beach
Hikes that end in water are twice as fun!
We spent hours playing at this beach – meditating, napping, laughing – finding pebbles to squeeze between our toes. There was no wi-fi, no cell service of any kind, so it was perfect!
- We snacked on apples.
- The kids took turns being buried under the pebbles.
- We sat in joyful, silent contentment just taking in the views.
This day was just perfection.
Beautiful pictures catering life’s most serene moments. It’s obvious you all paused and soaked in love and light.
